Successfully passed the Japanese Foreign License Conversion Driving Test! ＼(^o^)／
After living in the United States for 20 years, our student returned to Japan last year to care for their elderly mother. Since traveling by car became necessary, they decided to obtain a Japanese driver’s license through the foreign license conversion process.
About a week before their first driving test in March, they took lessons at another driving school. However, they felt that the instruction did not suit them well, and the training content was not very effective. Looking for a better option, they found us online and enrolled in our program.
At the end of February, we conducted the first lesson. The student immediately noticed a significant difference from their previous training, especially in areas such as proper right and left turns, lane changes, and safety checks. We then focused on repeatedly practicing the required test items and driving techniques.
The student completed the first driving test course successfully, but unfortunately fell just short of passing.
Since the second test was scheduled for the 13th, we provided an additional lesson on the 9th. We carefully reviewed the areas pointed out during the first test, including speed control and proper positioning when making right and left turns. After confirming that there were no major issues remaining, we concluded the lesson with confidence.
The student then took the driving test for the second time—and passed successfully!
