How to avoid obstacles

20 to 25 meters before the obstacle, start changing course 10 to 15 meters before the obstacle by looking in the room mirror, signaling right, and checking right rearward. When the right front wheel crosses the center line, change to the left turn signal. When the vehicle is straight, check the left rear, leave at least 1 meter and 1.5 meters clear of the obstacle, turn the steering wheel gently so that it is not abrupt, and return to the original lane to mute the signal.

However, if there is oncoming traffic in front of you, wait in front of the obstacle, avoid it in the same way after it passes, and then pass. When avoiding an obstacle, do not move too early. Exit approximately two cars ahead of the obstacle.

Lateral spacing not maintained

This section describes the side spacing and other non-retention.
 The scoring criteria include
 1. Failure or refusal to maintain side clearance with the test vehicle when passing or passing an oncoming vehicle, overtaking a vehicle in front, or passing a parked vehicle, structure, or other obstacle (excluding pedestrians and lightweight vehicles) on the side of the vehicle. However, this shall not apply in cases where the prescribed interval cannot be maintained due to unavoidable circumstances.

(1) When a person fails or refuses to maintain a distance of approximately 1 meter or more from a moving animal or a movable animal such as a parked vehicle that is expected to have a person on board (moving, movable).
(2) Failure or refusal to maintain a distance of approximately 0.5 meters or more from structures or immovable objects such as parked vehicles that are clearly not occupied by people (unattended)

When a driver fails or refuses to maintain an approximate distance of 1.5 meters or more from the vehicle in front of him when he catches up with a stopped vehicle and comes to a stop (in front).

The second point (2) is also relevant to the provisional license test, so leave 1 meter of space.
The second point (2) is relevant everywhere, especially when you stop following the car in front of you.

Also, do not leave too much space between cars.
If it is unavoidable, pass at the slowest possible speed (very slowly).
If there is an oncoming car and you are going beyond the center line, be sure to stop before the obstacle and wait for the oncoming car to pass before passing through, or the test will be cancelled due to the auxiliary brake being applied.
If you can pass the obstacle without going over the center line, you can pass the obstacle even if there is an oncoming car, but 20 points will be deducted for both on-road and off-road driving.
